Theraplay is a medical art therapy cart specially designed for in hospital use with bed-ridden children. It allows children who are too sick to get up from their beds to engage in healing art therapy, otherwise known as "emotional first aid". The design aims to help maximize results of the child's therapy yet also provide ergonomic support to the art therapist.
The project won the Manufacturers' Association of Israel's prize for excellence
The project was a finalist in the Milbat Design Competition.
Design
The final design was well recieved not only by the child patient but also by the hospital staff. They welcomed a slimmer and more convenient design that did not overwhelm the already crowded hospital rooms.

Mobile app
The art therapist's app allows for her to easily manage her schedule, patients and supplies. She can even scan her patients artwork to send to their families.
Process/research and prototypes
Over the course of several months, I researched and created prototypes of workspaces for children in hospital.
